Gratitude Monday

Late getting to this this week, and I don’t have a lot to say. However, it is gray and cool outside today; I think it even spit a little rain earlier, and certainly overnight. This time of year, I’ll take this kind of weather whenever I can get it. With July looming (often the hottest month of the year), any day that isn’t scorching hot is a day that I’m grateful for. Especially considering what those poor folks in Colorado are suffering with the fires. If this year turns out to be anything like last year, we’ll get our share of that, and more, before the leaves turn again. So whatever of the cooler, wet weather I can get between now and then I will embrace happily!

Update: About an hour after I posted this the wind kicked up, the thunder rumbled, and a heavy rain rolled through. Took this shot out my office window:

A day like this for every 3-4 sunny days would make a perfect summer. . . .
