Gratitude Monday

I’m grateful for the long weekend that just passed. I know this becomes just a Part Two of last week’s Gratitude Monday, but it needs mentioning. After my Tuesday post, which I’d queued up Monday evening, I didn’t even worry about posting here on the blog. I also tried to limit my interaction with other social medias, to varying degrees of success. If felt good to step back a little, without disconnecting completely, and make some plans for moving forward over the next couple months. It can all become so overwhelming at times.

Sunday was the grayest day we’ve had in a long time, with much rain and mud. A storm front is moving in, and by Tuesday the temperature is supposed to plummet for the rest of the week. I will be spending part of it in Portland — just a couple days — so it’s possible I’ll miss the worst of it. Still, I worry about my people at home when I’m out of town. I’m grateful it will be a short trip, and I’m grateful for a solid roof over everyone’s heads as well.

Gratitude is best when you’re looking out for others, too. Hope all goes well.

  2. I would like to be as openly thoughtful as you are in your posts. Thanks for showing how.
