One-Sentence Journal, Week Fifty-One

  1. 11/01/2015:  The beauty of today’s wild weather swings — sunny, then black with clouds, rain, wind, then more sun — is truly one of my favorite things about where I live.
  2. 11/02/2015:  Dia de los Muertos, and I learn that one of my dearest friends, years absent and unheard from, has died of a heart attack.
  3. 11/03/2015:  Band practice was a wake of its own sort tonight, as all three of us were close with our departed friend, and it eased the emotional tumult, if only for a couple hours.
  4. 11/04/2015:  On a positive note, I turned in my first book review for the Missoulian today, a new source of a little steady (hopefully), ongoing freelance income for something I’d be doing anyway: reading books.
  5. 11/05/2015:  Thought I might break free of the day job without ever having to make another trip, but it looks like I’ll be going to Florida in December.
  6. 11/06/2015:  Sweaty rock n’ roll catharsis in front of a decent-sized, enthusiastic crowd may not assuage everything, but it damn sure doesn’t hurt.
  7. 11/07/2015:  I feel a little guilty tonight for not calling out this woman for being incredibly rude to the Barnes & Noble help this afternoon for absolutely no reason, when there’s not a damn thing they can really do to call her out themselves.
