I know my last post was a PFF post as well, and for that I apologize. Had a busy week this week . . . busy with social activities, actually. Early Monday I flew to Moline, IL, then drove across the river into Davenport, IA, to visit my sister, who owns Eastside Bakery there. I haven’t seen her for a while, so it was good to catch up. She makes a killer pizza too, so my offering this week is her rolling one out for me shortly after my arrival.
I know the theme of this weekly event is supposed to be a single picture, but it would be lame of me not to show the finished product as well, wouldn’t it?
After that visit I drove 2.5 hours up to where I’d be working for the next couple days. The next night I visited with writer (and fellow heavy music aficionado) Kent Gowran over beers and excellent bar food. The next night I drove back to Davenport to take my sister out to dinner, followed by a day of travel (and travel delays) and here I am, finally home again. I’ll be here just long enough to attend one of Julia’s DonkeyGirl events:
Preview 6 new party-dress styles at Selvedge Studio, Friday, December 3rd, from 5pm to 8pm. Also, discounted sample sizes on sale!!
. . . then do a bunch of laundry, then head out for another work trip on Sunday, followed immediately by a trip to Tucson to visit Julia’s family. It’s going to be a busy next couple of weeks, for sure.
